It was quite a sight at the London Regional Cancer Program. Nurses took part in a flash mob to recognize Canadian Oncology Nursing day. It’s a cross country flash mob that began in Newfoundland early this morning and ended in British Columbia this afternoon.


We’ve all needed someone to talk to at one point or another, today our very own Tara Overholt helped kick off the annual walk-a-thon for the Kids Help Phone. Taking a moment out of their class trip these young students say the Helpline has been helpful for kids just like them. The 11th annual “Walk So Kids Can Talk” fundraiser takes place on Sunday May 6th. Bell is among several corporate sponsors you can sign up on the website

 to start collecting donations.


Medical leaders and local politicians are calling it a historic first step for outpatient cardiology in Canada. Today the Windsor Cardiac Centre announced it’s the first private outpatient facility in the country to receive accreditation. Christie Bezaire reports.
