There’s reassuring research tonight for adults taking ADHD medication who worry about heart problems. Earlier research found the drugs can increase heart rate and blood pressure. But these studies were too small to judge the risk of serious heart problems. The new U.S. Study examined records from 150-thousand adults who’d filled at least one prescription for ADHD drugs, and looked for people diagnosed with heart attack, stroke or sudden cardiac death.
