A troubling study out tonight on pollution and dementia. Researchers have found that chronic exposure to air pollution may speed up cognitive decline in older people. Researchers found that women exposed to both fine and coarse air pollution particles experienced more cognitive decline over a four year period. The link may be traced to cardiovascular risk which itself could play a role in cognitive decline.
