I was contacted by my daughter teacher the other day about her being put on an IEP program for the fall of 2012. I have heard of a lot of kids going on this program and I am just wondering if there is any studies done to see in the last 10 yrs how many kids have been put on it.
I think that the people in charge of setting out the curriculum for the kids is set way to high and I think that if they lowered the standard it would make it easier and not all the kids would be struggling to keep up with what is expected of them.
I do not know if you have any information on this or not. But anything you do have would be greatly appreciated.
PS if you are going to have anything on the news about this topic, could you please let me know about it ahead of time so I can make sure I watch it or record it. Thanks Shelly
