It’s a subject in the news these days, concussions and head injuries in sports. Tonight a study about possible brain injuries in soccer caused by heading with researchers in the US finding subtle signs of brain damage and changes to the brain. As Avis Favaro reports, this is a story parents of soccer kids will want to heed.

There is a new tool out to help educate parents, kids and coaches about concussions and what’s needed to prevent them. It’s a website and it’s the brainchild of two former hockey stars. As Julia Burke tells us they want to prevent others from going through the challenges they faced after suffering serious injuries in sport.
